What you can expect from us, and what we ask in return
WHAT WE PROVIDE
We write personalised tributes, obituaries, eulogies, and wedding speeches in your chosen African language. Every piece is written specifically for the person you have described. We do not use templates. No two tributes are the same.
PREVIEW BEFORE YOU PAY
We write the first section of your tribute and send it to you before any payment is requested. This lets you see the quality and cultural accuracy of the writing before you commit to anything.
DELIVERY
Tributes ordered via WhatsApp arrive within 60 seconds of payment. Tributes ordered via the website arrive within a few minutes. Delivery is to the number or address you provided.
REVISIONS
One revision is included with every order. If you would like changes after receiving your tribute, reply within 24 hours via WhatsApp or email hello@sankofawords.com.
REFUNDS
If your tribute has not been delivered yet, a full refund is available on request. Once delivered, refunds are considered individually. Contact us within 24 hours at hello@sankofawords.com.
YOUR TRIBUTE BELONGS TO YOU
The tribute we write is yours and your family’s. Read it aloud, print it, share it, publish it. It was written for you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
